Features:

The Duet 2 Ethernet features include a dedicated ethernet module, higher stepper and heater current ratings, and more accurate temperature control. More features below:

  • Powerful 32 Bit Processor Atmel SAM4E8E: 120MHz ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller
  • Super quiet TMC2660 stepper drivers SPI controlled stepper drivers capable of up to 256 microstepping. Current and microsteps can both be changed on the fly for optimum speed and power efficiency. Each stepper driver is rated for up to 2 amps.
  • Dual extruders3 heater/thermistor channels for a heated bed and 2 extruders. 3 PWM controllable and 2 always-on fans. These can be run from either the input voltage, from 5V, or from external power for added flexibility.
  • Dedicated Ethernet moduleRunning the TCP/IP stack on a separate W5500 chip, this leaves the main processor free to do precise stepper pulse timing and implement other advanced features.
  • Touch Screen Support - The optional PanelDue controller provides a full colour graphic touch screen controller with virtual keyboard. Also talks G-code for maximum flexibility.
  • Up to 7 extruders - Support for a further 5 stepper drivers and heaters on the expansion header. Firmware support for mixing nozzles and remapping axes to use high-power external drivers.
  • Easy to configure - Setup your printer and update the firmware through the web interface. No need to compile your own firmware.

The Duet 2 Ethernet uses the Duet Web Control interface for control over ethernet. You can check out a simulated version by clicking here.

What's in the box:
  • The board itself
  • Preloaded MicroSD card
  • USB cable
  • Connector kit, in case you need to crimp your own cables (crimping tool not included)
Ordering Options:

Reviews:

ARM M4F processor (faster than the M3s in Due and Smoothie v1), runs RepRapFirmware (which is very nice), uses super-fancy SPI-controlled TMC2660 drivers, and has an onboard ESP8266 for wifi. Obviously I also had to hook up a PanelDue for sweet touchscreen action. I like that the built-in web interface does most of what OctoPrint does. (No slicing, camera support is less clean, but it does all the machine control and file upload stuff.) Avoids USB streaming processor load and frees up an OctoPi to move to another printer. - Ryan Carlyle

I love the Duet WiFi. The web interface and PanelDue are both awesome in their own right but nothing you couldn't have before. With the fans off you can barely hear the steppers at all in 16X + interpolation mode. The steppers being silent and the whole thing being wrapped up in a neat package with WiFi on top make the experience so pleasant compared with anything else I've used so far. - David Martin
