We have worked with Railcore Labs and ProjectR3D to bring you the Railcore II 300ZLT Kit! 

The Railcore II 300ZLT is a CoreXY based, open source 3D printer. Its features include a robust design, lightweight and stiff motion system, premium hot end, and cutting-edge automatic calibration features. The kit comes complete with all the components needed to complete your printer from the aluminum stepper brackets from to the 3D printed parts. All printed structural printed parts are be printed out of Atomic Filaments CF PETG and non structural parts are printed out of Atomic Filaments Dark Cherry PLA.

    In order to limit the use of printed parts as structural components, the kits come standard with aluminum stepper motor mounts, idler mounts and X-axis carriages from Mandala Rose Works. The aluminum beds are milled out of MIC 6 plate to ensure it is completely flat.

    We are shipping a complete plug and play wiring harness system with each kit! You no longer have to deal with cutting stripping and crimping your own wires. You will get all components and hardware needed to build the printer, from linear rails to nuts and bolts. All you need is the tools and the time, we have everything else covered!

    Rail Options

    • BYOR: This option comes with no linear rails, linear rails are mandatory but this option exists if you wish to supply your own.
    • Zyltech: An economical choice, Zyltech rails offer good quality at an affordable price. We test every linear rail set to ensure they are up to the task while also grouping them based on preload to ensure you get matching preload on each axis!
    • MiSUMi: A premium choice, MiSUMi linear rails are known for their excellent quality. These are used on the X/Y axes on the ZLT, with Zyltech rails used on the Z axis.

    Hotend Options

    • BYOH: This option comes with no hotend but it will include an E3D Premium Heater and thermistor to maintain the plug and play feature of the wiring harness
    • V6 Gold: The V6 Gold comes with a plated copper block, E3D Premium Heater, thermistor and 0.4mm Hardened Steel Nozzle.
    • Mosquito: The Mosquito comes with an E3D Premium Heater and thermistor with a 0.4mm Hardened Steel Nozzle
    • Mosquito Magnum: The Mosquito Magnum comes with a E3D Premium Heater and thermistor with a 0.8mm Hardened Nozzle for large prints. 

    Electronics Options

    • Duet 2 Wifi: The Duet 2 Wifi is a market-leading control board, with wifi support.
    • Duet 2 Wifi External Antenna: Like the Duet 2 Wifi, but with an external, mountable antenna for better signal strength.
    • Duet 2 Ethernet: Like the Duet 2 Wifi, but with an ethernet connection instead of wifi.

    Display Options

    • None: No display, though you can use the much-praised Duet Web Control from a phone, tablet, or computer.
    • PanelDue 5i: A 5" LCD touchscreen display for interfacing with the printer. Duet Web Control is still available. Printed mount not included, but many options are available. Here is one.
    • PanelDue 7i: A 7" LCD touchscreen display for interfacing with the printer. Duet Web Control is still available. Printed mount not included, but many options are available. Here is one.

    Bed Options

    • Standard: The standard bed is a 1/4” sheet of MIC6 aluminum that will come with a 12”x12” sheet of PEI.

    Power Options

    • 120vAC/US plug: Comes with a standard US plug and 120v bed heater.
    • 240vAC/EU plug: Comes with a standard EU plug and 240v bed heater.

    Tools Required to Complete the Build

    • Hex Wrenches 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm
    • 5.5mm nut driver
    • Philips Head and Flat screwdriver
    • Flush Cutters
    • Red RTV for mounting the bed thermistor.
