The E3D SuperVolcano: For when your E3D Volcano is not fast enough.

The E3D SuperVolcano is the newest member of the E3D family, pushing you to print even bigger and faster than ever before! Are you looking to find out more about the design process? Check out the
blog post and find the assembly guidelines here.

We are proud to be a
US distributor for E3D.

Packs Include:

Eruption Pack: Four nozzles (0.8/1.0/1.2/1.4mm), 80W heater cartridge, thermistor cartridge, heater block, and SuperVolcano sock.
Starter Pack: 1.0mm nozzle, 80W heater cartridge, thermistor cartridge, heater block, and SuperVolcano sock.

12volt packs include a MOSFET board since 12v SuperVolcano heater draws more current than most printer controllers can handle.

  1.  Faster than ever

The SuperVolcano is the gift that keeps on giving, boasting up to 11x the volumetric throughput of the market-leading V6, this beast is the answer to your slow-speed printing prayers.

  1.  High temp performance

The SuperVolcano can comfortably reach 285°C, and when you swap a thermistor for a thermocouple or PT100 you'll be able to exceed 400°C. This not only allows you to print extremely high-temperature materials like PEEK and Nylons but also eliminates HotEnd meltdown failures associated with PEEK/PTFE designs.

  1.  Great interlayer and bed adhesion

The SuperVolcano gives you the ability to print wider and higher tracks. This provides a greater area for these tracks to bond to each other and in turn increases the interlayer adhesion, creating very strong parts. These wide tracks also help with bed adhesion, reducing the chance of prints warping and breaking off the bed mid-print.

  1.  Space for a second thermistor

If extra redundancy/monitoring of your HotEnd performance is what you’re after, then feel free to add another thermistor into the equation (not that it's required).

  1.  Full range of nozzles available

Available in Brass, Nickel Plated Copper, and Hardened Steel, we have nozzles in the following sizes: 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, and 1.4 (for when you have a high-speed motion system and your build volume is large enough). We would advise using a 1.0mm nozzle for the best speed to detail results.

  1.  Compatible with the E3D ecosystem

This SuperVolcano upgrade kit is fully compatible with the E3D HotEnd range. Attach with ease to your V6, Lite6, Titan Aero, Titan Aqua, Chimera, Chimera+, or if you're feeling brave, the Kraken!
