Embedded Bowden Couplings - For Metal

These pneumatic fittings have a brass metal body which is designed to provide a simple and cost effective way of inserting bowden tubing directly into your aluminium components.

The couplings are designed to take 4mm OD tubing and the brass inserts push into an 8mm hole 6mm deep.

These fittings are used in both types of the 1.75mm v6 hotends, the 3.0mm Bowden v6 hotend, and the Cyclops/Chimera/Kraken hotends. However there are plenty of other applications ready to be discovered!

Embedded Bowden Couplings - For Plastic

These pneumatic fittings have teeth protruding from their body and are designed to provide a simple and cost effective way of inserting bowden tubing directly into your printed or plastic components.
The couplings are designed to take 4mm OD tubing and the plastic ring is designed to be inserted into a 12mm hole at least 7mm deep.

For 4mm OD Tubing (1.75mm filament):
Dimensions for the outer ring:
-Outer diameter: 11.8mm
-Overall diameter: 12.8mm
-Inner diameter: 6.3mm
-Thickness: 5mm

Dimensions for the insert:
-Outer diameter: 10mm
-Inner diameter: 4mm
-Thickness of top lip: 1.5mm
-Diameter of legs: 6mm

Threaded Bowden Couplings

These high-quality pneumatic push-fit couplings have a 1/8"  thread and screw directly to the bowden heat sink or any printed parts you may have that need to be converted to take PTFE tubing.

They are drilled out so that the PTFE tubing will run all the way through the fitting and into the part that you are screwing it into.

For 4mm OD Tubing (1.75mm filament):
Nominal Thread Size: 1/8" BSPP

Thread Length: 4mm

For 1/4" OD Tubing:
Nominal Thread Size: 1/8" BSPT
Thread Length: 8mm

Groovemount Bowden Couplings

This is a neat little solution for quickly and easily converting a direct extruder that would normally accept a groovemount hotend into a bowden extruder. Simply mounts in like a hotend, but instead accepts our PTFE tubing securely in an embedded bowden coupler.

Quite a bit nicer than forcibly screwing a threaded bowden coupler into a printed hole, and allows you to use the existing plethora of excellent direct extruders available in a bowden setup.

If you're designing your own bowden extruder you might consider using this to secure your tubing instead of a screw in coupler.
